Treat Your Body Like a Temple- Because it is- Episode 016

The phrase ‘treat your body like a temple’ comes from the Bible. 1st Corinthians 6:19- “Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the holy spirit within you, whom you have from God?” For me the phrase ‘treat your body like a temple’ is a simple reminder of our connection to spirit which I spoke about in last week’s episode.

Did you know the triangle is considered to be the strongest shape in the universe? This is because all of the sides support each other. So it is no wonder that we are a perfect triangle- body, mind and spirit. And I don’t think this is a coincidence- everything God creates is perfect and well thought out.

So episode 16 of Kickass Every Day is all about the importance of taking care of our bodies the best way we can. The goal of this episode is to help everyone to see their bodies as temples and therefore treat them with the love and respect they deserve.

“Treat your body like a temple, not a woodshed. The mind and the body work together. Your body needs to be a good support system for the mind and the spirit. If you take good care of it, your body can take you wherever you want to go, with the power and strength and energy and vitality you will need to get there.”
