Episode 54 is all about the ties between personal development and freedom and is designed to get you to stop and think for a moment. Hmm are there really ties between them? Without a doubt and I can’t wait to share them with you.

With the observance of Memorial Day this week, I thought this would be a great time to do this episode. I value the freedom we have here in the U.S. and love our country. Yes I am a patriot. Did you know that the personal development movement was started here in America as well? It really shouldn’t come as any surprise. Only in a country founded on the ideas of freedom could such a thing as the personal movement be born.

“It’s the duty of every man to free himself. Never accept to live an underdog’s life in god’s world.”

― Bangambiki Habyarimana

So the goal of this episode is to show you how personal development so beautifully aligns with the freedom and ideas that America was founded upon.

We will talk about :

  • The history of the personal development movement
  • The ties between personal development and freedom
  • A few things that personal development can help you with, that I haven’t talked about before 😊

As we enter this summer season I encourage all of you to read the Constitution, the Bill of Rights and the Declaration of Independence. I think when you are born here in this amazing country, you take a lot of things for granted. That’s why it’s important to know what others see when they read those important documents. What they are hoping to be a part of when they come here. Be sure to remember all those who have given their lives so that we can continue to have the freedoms we do here in this beautiful country.

Please make sure to subscribe in Apple Podcasts or the player of your choice if you haven’t already so you never miss out on the fun. Do you ever stop and think about the freedoms we have here in America?  If so, we would love to hear your thoughts on it. Have some more questions about this topic? Please ask those below as well!! Together we will be the changes and differences we want to see in the world.  If you think someone else could benefit from learning about personal development, feel free to share this with them. I look forward to connecting with you next week!

Till next time-
